Rock Protection

 


Available for 1966-1977 Ford Broncos. These Hanson Rockers combine tough 3/16" hot-rolled steel, maximum bottom and side impact protection and sleek styling. For the ultimate in door panel and rocker protection, Hanson Rockers protude 2-½" from tub and 5" high on sides. These can either be bolted onto tub and lower body flange with provided 5/16", 18 truss head machine screws, or can easily be welded into place.

Hanson Rockers are cut to fit stock 1966-1977 Broncos without fender flares but can be easily trimmed to accomodate fender flares.

Mitered and Capped:
We offer a mitered and capped version of the Hanson Rocker. This version includes a compund miter cut to match the angle of the fender flare. These are then capped and ground smooth, an extra step worth the effort to create a much stronger rocker panel. Capping prevents the ends from distorting, since this is where the rockers will take a great number of hits.
